SEOUL, Korea and SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 15 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FADU Technology, a developer of innovative high-end SSD controllers and solutions targeting hyperscale data centers and server/storage systems, today announced that the company’s industry-leading FC3081 SSD controllers generation and second generation FC4121 are in mass production.

FADU’s SSD controllers are fully compliant with Open Compute Project (OCP) NVMe Cloud SSD specifications. The controllers meet the rigorous demands of data center workloads. Defined by major data center vendors, including Meta (formerly known as Facebook), the OCP specification is a unified and interoperable set of standards, enabling SSD and SSD controller vendors to work effectively with the design of next-generation storage.

SSD products based on FADU’s first-generation controller (FC3081) are the first to deliver 100,000 IOPS/watt in the industry. FADU’s second-generation controller (FC4121) significantly doubles SSD performance over the first generation with 7,300 KB/s sequential read, 4,800 KB/s sequential write, 1,500,000 random read IOPS and a random write of 185,000 IOPS.
