Bezons, June 272022 – 8:00am – RIBER, a world leader in the molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) equipment market for semiconductors industry, is announcing a order for a multi-4” GSMBE 49 production system.

The system is intended for optoelectronic and microwave applications, in particular for the growth of 1.3 µm quantum dot (QD) lasers for next-generation telecommunications and data communication devices.

The new generation of datacom equipment requires very precise control of the epitaxial growth process, obtained by the recognized performance of Riber machines and by the sophistication of the machine control software.

The machine ordered will be delivered in 2023.
